Katie Roeda, MSW, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker whose practice encompasses individual and family psychotherapy for adolescents and adults. Katie specializes in using guided imagery with individuals and groups for pain management and the development of confidence, creativity, and self-compassion. Katie believes that wellness is achieved and maintained through addressing the needs of the body, mind, and creative spirit collectively. Helping clients appreciate the skills they possess and discover how to best apply these skills in relationship to self and others is what inspired Katie to pursue education in social work. She received a Master’s degree in Social Work from The Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. and completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI. She pursues continuing education in Interpersonal Neurobiology, Dream work, Guided Imagery, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Katie has experience treating persons who struggle with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, chronic pain, past trauma and stress in relationships.
Katie enjoys the splendor of Oregon’s outdoors by kayaking and traveling off the beaten path. She also enjoys learning about Latin American culture and was first introduced to holistic health care while living in South Korea. She is thrilled to be a part of the team at Today Integrative Health + Wellness.
