Haylee Nye is a first-year resident physician and nutrition specialist at Today Integrative Health + Wellness. She graduated from the National University of Natural Medicine with a Naturopathic Doctorate and Masters of Science in Nutrition degree. She earned a Bachelor’s of Health Sciences with highest honors from Portland State University in 2011.
She focused on advanced studies in women’s health, including preconception care and fertility. In addition, she has advanced training in gastroenterology and rheumatology. She has a passion for disease prevention via teaching healthy a lifestyle and optimal nutrition.
She became an active member of the Naturopathic Medical Student Association in 2012. She served as an executive board member as treasurer for two terms and was an active fundraiser for her local chapter. She earned the President’s Award in 2014 for her contributions to the association. She became a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians in 2011 and attended the Federal Legislative Initiative in Washington DC in 2013 and 2015.
In her free time she likes to run by the waterfront, bike the spring water corridor, drink cappuccinos, read a good fiction novel, learn about culture and history, make dinners for friends and family, and travel. She resides in Portland, OR.
